Katsu Sora at the Promenade

It’ll be a shame if I strike out Katsu Sora at the Promenade, Greenhills Shopping Centre in San Juan City from my list of fave hangouts for 2015. I dined here twice with some friends and the dining experience was truly authentic and good. I loooove, love, love their crunchy, yet tender and juicy, tonkatsu. Writing it now just makes my stomach grumble.

I’ve tried their Kurobota and Sakura pork tonkatsu sets on separate occasions. I also can’t resist their Chicken with Cheese and Oba Katsu. The best thing about their menu offering is that the price isn’t that steep. And the best part, I think is their unlimited salad bar and their soup. I love miso soup and they have different takes on this dish.

Eating Japanese pork cutlets this yummy, won’t be yum if you don’t pair it with a dressing. Available on your tables are sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds and other dressing that can go with your katsu.

I do wish there’s a Katsu Sora outlet somewhere in the Muntinlupa, Alabang area. Besides the one at the Promenade, there are 4 other branches–at the Trinoma Mall, Quezon City; Ayala Serin Mall, Tagaytay City; Eastwood Mall, Libis, QC; and SM City BF Homes, Parañaque City. 🙂
